A downloadable game

A mother and her child must slay the Mushroom Mage and the Moss Giant to cure the baby's curse. One problem...they're caught in a slowly collapsing time loop. Each time that the mother dies, the child resets the clock to a happier day. Unfortunately, each reset takes time off the child's countdown clock. In fact, the child loses a bit of time every time he casts a spell.  If it reaches zero before they are successful, both will perish. 

Instructions: 

Engage the enemy with either a ranged or melee attack or choose to hold steady. The enemy will block based on their statistics, so switch up your move! Different attacks have a different chance of getting past a specific enemy's block or dodge.

Attacks

Mom's Turn 

Melee:

O- High Heavy

L- Low Heavy

I - High Quick

K- Low Quick

Once you commit to a melee attack, you are committed to attacking that enemy. 

Ranged attacks

Each attack takes one ability point. 

O- Power Shot (impossible to block, but can be dodged)

L - Rapid Fire Shot (High and Low arrow that can be dodged, but not blocked)

Steady

Increases the character's balance by 25%

Baby's turn

Baby can cast a number of spells

Healing touch- Restores balance to the player

Go Faster - Increases the player's speed

Shock - Large amount of high damage to an enemy

Sparkle - Smaller amount of low damage to an enemy

Slow Down- Causes enemies to go slower

All baby spells decrease the baby's time by just a little bit. When the baby runs out of time, the game is over.



Defense

Each participant has a balance meter and a number of wounds. All attacks damage balance. When balance is brought to zero, the player receives a mortal blow which increases their wound damage. When the wound damage has filled up, the participant dies.

Balance restores between fights, but wounds persist. 

You can defend in one of three ways.

Block - High or Low

W- Block High

S- Block Low

C- Dodge

Q- Magic Shield

A successful block prevents any chipping for wounds and reduces the incoming balance damage by the enemy's block percentage.

Dodge

All or nothing, but requires active timing. 

Magic Shield

Blocks magic projectiles but uses some of the baby's time.
